Budget Planner helps you organise your personal finances. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, name and password (stored securely hashed).
- Budget data you enter: budgets, transactions, bills, paychecks, savings goals and debts.
- Preferences such as currency, timezone and theme.
- Billing records from our payment processor (plan and status, never full card numbers).
What we never collect
- Bank passwords or online banking access.
- Payment card numbers. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
How we use your data
Only to provide the service: showing your budgets, calculating totals, sending account emails you request and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see your data
Your financial records are protected by database-level security so only your account can read them. Our administrators can see account details (such as your email and plan) for support, but not your budgets or transactions.
Service providers
- Supabase (database and authentication hosting).
- Vercel (website hosting).
- Stripe (payments, for paid plans).
Your choices
- Export your transactions at any time from Settings.
- Delete your account from Settings. This permanently removes your data.
- Contact us to ask about or correct your information.
